9/4/09: missed weigh-in! on vacation
10/9/09: apparently I am STILL on vacation. Despite running like crazy my weight has not budged. I have not been focused on my calories at all. I have been eating really healthy, but a calorie is a calorie. No weight gain – just no weight lost, either. It is good to know that I will be really good in maintenance mode!
It is time to refocus and get these last 20 pounds off. I really need to drop them before the half marathon December 12 and then a few more before the full marathon February 13th. I need to be good to my body and these extra pounds are hard on it. Starting 10/12 it is back to the food journaling and counting.

Another weigh-in coming up I see. 71 lost so far, that’s good. Don’t let the scale get you down though; your body weight can change +/- 3 lbs each day. You can really measure your progress by the way you feel and how your clothes fit. Keep up the good work.
