Running Log

Here is where I will keep track of my running times.

July 2008: 5K time 46 minutes!!! Aaahhhh – I wasn’t last!

12/30/08: went out running for the first time since that race. 39:50 min. Much better. Felt good.

01/07/08: 37:46. I used Podrunner for my music – 135 bpm. I think now that I could have pushed it a bit more but I just wanted to make sure I was faster than last time. 3 miles

1/10/09: Grasshopper 5K – 36:30!!!!   Loved every minute of it! 3.1

1/18/09: 5 miles – 1 hour, 1 minute. Distance record for me!

1/27: Speed training! I ran all my intervals just under the alloted times. I walked between the intervals – longer than I should have. My goal for next week is to walk the specified amount of times.

1/28: Ran 2 miles at 11:56 pace. After I got home I went to mark out it off of my plan and realized I should have walked, not ran. Tomorrow is a 3.5 run so hopefully my legs will not be too tired. I am a bit sore today.

Any more runs coming up? I didn’t run last week but I did do a 38 mile bike ride Saturday morning. I enjoy getting out on the road, breathing fresh air and seeing all the beautiful landscape. I also like the fact that it doesnt hurt my back like running. If you ever get a bike/or if you have one, I’ll show you the route we ride. I think you would really enjoy it.

I have to find one for August. I try to do one each month – I will let you know what I find.

WOW – 38 miles! that is great. I like riding my bike, but I do not like riding on roads – I am afraid that I will get hit by a car! I don’t trust them!

Yeah I think about that every time I ride. This past ride I had 2 idiots come about 12″ from me. It scared the crap out of me. I wish I had something to throw at their car b/c I would.
